Shull is a 6-foot-1, 205-pound switch-hitting outfielder who developed an intriguing offensive upside as an underclassman and has blossomed into a well-rounded player entering his senior year. He’s solidly built with bat speed and raw power from both sides of the plate, as well as a direct swing and low maintenance operation that should allow him to hit for both average and power. He was particularly impressive at the Area Code Games where he went 5-for-14 with five balls hit harder than 97 mph. Shull is just an average runner who might fit better in a corner outfield spot, but his above-average arm should allow him to profile in either left field or right. He turns 19 in July and is committed to Oklahoma State.
