Heaven set for United debut live on MUTV
Ayden Heaven looks set to make his first Manchester United appearance in the Under-21s' game against Fulham tonight (Monday).
The former Arsenal youngster joined the club during the winter transfer window and is set for his bow in front of the MUTV cameras, with live coverage of the Premier League 2 encounter being broadcast from Leigh Sports Village, kicking off at 19:00 GMT.
Heaven has been included in lead coach Travis Binnion's squad for the contest, with the Reds looking to extend a five-match winning run in the division.
Viewers will be able to get a first look at the versatile defender in United colours, after he was an unused substitute for the senior home games against Leicester City, in the Emirates FA Cup fourth round, and at Tottenham on Sunday.
The 18-year-old did make his first-team debut while with Arsenal, appearing in the Carabao Cup victory over Preston North End in October.
Heaven is actually still eligible to appear at Under-18s level for the Reds.
United head coach Ruben Amorim named a very youthful bench for the defeat at Spurs, with Elyh Harrison, Harry Amass, Tyler Fredricson, Sekou Kone, Jack Fletcher, Jack Moorhouse and Chido Obi all among the substitutes.
Chido came on to make his maiden senior appearance in injury time.
We await confirmation whether any of those who travelled south, in addition to Heaven, are available for the home game this evening.
